Phoebe at the Cabin

After I was sick for a week, we went to the cabin with family.  I also picked up a new freelance editing job.  And Phoebe, although she looks cherubic here, is demanding her independence with destructive results as only a 2-year-old can. Oh, that girl.  So all of these explain my blogging break, but I'm back.

She has that look in some of these photos. You know the one - that sassy toddler look. Good luck. I have a love/hate relationship with that age. My own was so hard I couldn't live through it again, but I will snatch up friends' toddlers for an afternoon in a heartbeat because there is something magical about that age.

Sorry to hear you were sick, but hooray on the new editing job!

Congrats on the new gig! I hope your feeling much, much better--and my, oh, my--she's grown, that little one! That looks like a very relaxing place to be.

Welcome back!

Re the toddler: They can be such stinkers, yes? ALL my sympathy... (And thank goodness for grandparents.)

Oh, two year olds! Strength, mama!

Hey, I made some of your magic mayo this week! I was taking care of my neighbors' chickens while they were away and ran out of mayo at the same time. You are right, it is magic! So easy! Thank you!

I'm very late commenting on this post, so my apologies, but I did want to say how Phoebe is growing up so fast. Love the garland she is wearing. I hope you're feeling fine now.
